Yes you can buy
them if you have the thousands of dollars and yearly updates.
However you would find little use for it without the training and would most likely screw something up.

I am actually helping a friend oversea to buy one. He has a modification shop in Singapore.
In sg, even workshop can't purchase the star basic. Only the main dealer has them. They don't sell it to anybody. So that only them can fix Merc in Singapore I guess
