Troubleshooting heated seats - need advice
I am a new owner of a 2001 C200 Kompressor. I've searched this forum and others looking for guides on how to troubleshoot my faulty heated seat. Found tons of info, but not the exact info I need. This is what have done:
Heated seat switches both light up. One light if you press the button once, and two if you press twice.
Passenger seat heats nice. Both elements.
Drivers seat no heat at all.
Passenger seat:
Measuring Voltage on the connector underneath the passenger seat, shows around 4v on step one, and 11v on step 2. Disconnected the connector. Measured around 2,4 ohms on both elements.
Driver seat:
No voltage across the connector. Disconnected connector. I see 2,4 ohms on one element, and an unstable 4 to 6 ohms on the other.
Element resistance seems ok. Or what?
What's next? Do I need to rip out the switches to check the control module?
Thankful for any good advice.

So then i got the switch panel out. The switches are just one big control module. Nothing I could do with that. Except maybe replace it. Need electronics skills. Maybe I could wire up a cheap switch and relay instead of buying a new and expensive switchpanel.
