Hi. I am by no means an expert, but my "gut" suspicion would be the MAF sensor. I would suggest disconnecting the MAF Sensor, and giving it a run, and see if the problem repeats.

OK, so it's not the MAF. As I mentioned before, I'm no expert, so let's apply logic, and a process of elimination... Fault Code says misfire 4,5,6 etc, which implies one bank of the V. Maybe a bad fuel-feed, blocked fuel line to the bank? Or maybe the CPS is failing?
C'mon, the experts out there, throw the man a line!!

Good man. Dont think its a blocked fuel line because I can drive it no problem, will do 70 MPH all day. Its just the second I use kick down, goes straight to limp mode. If i did not press kick down, would go all day. Have disconnected manifold and road tested-- still does it, so cat OK. Help!!! Have swopped every thing from one bank to other, fault stays on the same bank.

One again, I'm no expert, but the symptoms are pointing me to the CPS, since it only occurs at kickdown, ie when higher RPM required. Wait a mo', the next thought has arrived!! Maybe there's something not happy in the gearbox, and the 'computer' is limiting the motor to prevent damage?
Again, any experts out there to help Uncle Syd?

@ C43AMG: Thanks
@SydHarris: as C43AMG said, the CPS is the crank position sensor. There's one per bank, on the firewall-side of the motor. Do a search in the forums for "CPS", and have a read, there's a fair amount of info, pics, etc on how to find, and check the CPS. I only ask that you do a search, since I have exhausted my limited experience/knowledge.
