02 CL500 Electrical problem HELP!!!!
Hi There, I am new to the forms.... I have a 02 CL500 and It has been a good car. My wife drives it mostly in the summer, It sits most of the winter. I had started if up a month ago and it started fine. Then I noticed that all the power to the doors on both sides are dead. Nothing works. Seats, mirrors, windows. soft close doors, and now the window won't drop and it isn't sealed inside the car, after I closed the passenger door....
Can anyone please help or offer a place to start? I have checked the fuses and under the hood they all seemed fine...

You can hope it is a battery or alternator issue.
You need to be aware that roughly 90% of the control modules on this vehicle have been superseded, some many times.
My best advice: Take it to the local MB dealer for correct diagnosis, BEFORE spending money on any parts.

Check the x4/10 fuse box under the passenger side footwell. Pull up the carpet on that side and you'll see a white piece of styrofoam. That styrofoam sits on a metal plate that's mounted with 3 nuts (10mm socket size). Remove plate and you'll see the fuse block. Remove the cover (It snaps down) and you'll see 1 Big 50amp fuse and 2 Mini ANL 150 Amp fuse. One of them are usually (the top one), also connected by white plug. Replace that fuse and it will charge if it's blown. You can order that fuse for $10 bucks for 10 of them from Fleabay. The dealer will tell you that you must replace that entire box ($300 in Dallas,Tx), but that fuse is serviceable.

simple battery charge ....
Do not rely on the alternator to charge your battery from deep lows.
This strains the car electricals circuits with high currents. It will be all right a few times until the day everything turns against your wallet.
The fix is to invest in a CTEK float charger from Amazon... to save bundles later.
