Ok, so I know that when the indicator flashes at double time in the instrument panel, it means that there's a bulb out. The little message from mr Benz advising which corner is no longer participating is also a dead giveaway however...after replacing the bulb with the correct wattage, the indicator on the instrument panel is still rapid flashing/ticking. The bulb itself works fine, mr Benz's message is no more but the flashing/ticking is still at double time when I put that turn indicator on. I tried a reset with the button on the instrument cluster to no effect. Any ideas or suggestions?

This used to be a warning , that the flasher relay is faulty. Or bad earth on a bulb

Pm .Right i see now . Have you put any other type of bulbs in? .
What Benz is this? I assume you know the rear bulbs are special. They're similar to a 1157 with an offset pin on the body of the bulb.
