2003 R230 SL 600
Trouble with Xentry in R230
Hello all!
I have a SL 600 from 2003. Have bought Xentry/Star to be able to do as much maintenance as I can by myself on this car.
But! When I try to connect the system to the car and ask it to read out the VIN by itself, it says "cannot communicate with electronic ignition switch".
And all things I try to choose then it ask for the VIN number and give me only the option "coding" to step forward?
I have keyless go and everything works as it should. But when I put the key into the igniton switch there is no sound of it? Should there not be a sound of the steering wheel lock going of? Or is this different when having the keyless option?
