Would be much appreciated! Is there a resource that details/explains the build sheet packages for Mercedes? Some descriptions are pretty ambiguous.

Mercedes-Benz paint and upholstery color names inexplicably vary from one document to another, even as the option codes remain the same.

A VIN decode for my car indicates:
  • Paint 1: CAVANSITE BLUE METALLIC FINISH (890U)
  • Interior: LEATHER - BLUE (252A)

A VMI (Vehicle Master Inquiry) from the dealership indicates:
  • Paint: 890-Lunar Blue
  • Upholstery: 252-Dee Sea Blue/Silk Beige

you'll have to indicate the 890U and 252A codes
not 890-Lunar Blue and 252-Dee Sea Blue/Silk Beige

probably the first are the standard chart names and the second the "charming" MB names
