Mercedes Me Apps
Simple enough question I think: What is the difference between the USA apps "Mercedes Me" and "Mercedes Me Connect"?

If I understand correctly, Mercedes Me is for pre-2019 models and has fewer features than the newer Mercedes Me Connect. From my personal experience, Mercedes Me is complete crap; in the 2.5 years I've had it, the app has never consistently worked and is actually down (partially or completely) more than it is operational. Mine has been partially or completely nonfunctional for four straight months now. The technical support people have no idea how it is supposed to work or how to fix it.
I have no personal experience with Mercedes Me Connect, but owners who have it say it is no better.

It works a lot better than it did when I first got my car about a year ago though. It's just a really slow app, and as you said the functionalities don't always work. I guess Mercedes doesn't really like putting the time into developing things that are essentially free.

My understanding is that these apps were farmed out to independent companies for development and maintenance. They're a complete ****-show and an embarrassment to the marque.
