Heating Problem E220 W212
Hi All. 2014 E220 W212 Cabriolet. Hoping someone can help. Have a heating problem. Basically, noticed that the engine light suddenly pinged on. After a while I began to notice that all heating from all vents come out cold until I push the controls up to HI, then it comes out hot from all vents.
The blower seems to work, and when I push the Demist button, that demists the windscreen. What doesn’t seem to work anymore is the outside temp indicator. This just shows three dashes and ‘C’ (centigrade…ha, I’m in England!). The engine temp has stayed as normal.
Checking out all the other threads on this, all of them state the air comes out cold, but on mine, the HI still produces hot air? I understand there is not a heating control valve on the W12 engine….is this right? Is there anything else I should look at?
Thanks all.

HVAC module...
Can you hook up your favorite compatible scanner to see what the HVAC Module is up to.
It may be prone to develop issues on your chassis type or not (internal picture needed).
Perhaps a quick scanner reset can last all winter long...
