For some reason it won't let me download anything. At first it said there wasn't enought space on the USB drive, and now it is saying the USB is not writeable. This is the same USB that I used for my previous version. I removed it and reformatted the USB drive. What do I need to do differently?

I'm in FL USA, retired 9/11 first responder in New York, recently acquired a used 2023 EQE 350 SUV. It has 2022 North America with 2024 CA somehow, but here in Florida it won't show even 50-60 years old state roads. Following your posts I downloaded the DLM installer and the North America V.21.0 maps. I understand that during installation it will require an activation code. Any chance you can supply me with one? I just afraid that I will pay the subscription and the maps won't show these FL state roads as well.

Thanks for everything. I had to use my old laptop, which is the one I used for the previous update. It worked with the original USB stick. I got it downloaded and it's currently updatin the Nav system in my car right now. It takes a few hours, I'm at 55% after about 90 minutes of driving.
The Download Manager needs sufficient storage on the local hard drive to temporarily store the downloaded files before they get copied to the external media. If I remember correctly, in the settings of the Download Manager you can configure the path for the temporary download location, so make sure it's pointing to a location with sufficient free space.
Hi trigital. I went to link in post 28 and downloaded the download manager. Then in download manager I successfully downloaded NTG7 to an SD card via a USB adapter only because I don't currently have a large enough USB drive. I did not expect it to work in my car since download manager and many posts say it must be USB2.0 only, but I gave it a try and as expected when I put the SD card in the car nothing happened. But if I get a large enough USB drive and download NTG7 to it, should it then work in my car? Also should I not be trying NTG7 and should only be trying up to NTG5.5? Thank you so much for the help! Update: I put NTG5.5 on the SD card and now the car recognizes it and asks me for the license key. I thought I saw the license key somewhere here before but I can’t seem to find it now. I’m reading the license keys are VIN specific, so seeming like I will need a key generated for my VIN?
