Rear lower control arms

I've 2000 ML 320. The dealer in Los Angeles told me that I need to have my rear lower control arm replace and it cost $1,630. Does anybody know what is the reasonable price for that? Thanks in advance.

Can you take a picture of your LCA on the vehicle now? I would love to see one. That sounds outrageous if it were on my 1999 Z28 Camaro, 1 hour swap at most. It must be a pain on a ML.

Whoa, why would you need to have those replaced? I thought on the ML, that part is FORGED!

Everytime I go into a bump I heard a noise coming from the back of my car. According to the dealer, it needs to be replace but still can be driven. Not dangerous.

Sounds like your quote is off, maybe combined with other items?
I have never replaced them, but they certainly don't look that hard!

I think it might be the bad bushing, I'm going to check with my service advisor. Thanks guys.
