Turning off Active Brake Assist in S580?
Wondering if anyone with phantom braking issue has ever tried turning off all active drive assist functions but continue to have the same problem (especially the active brake)

Sorry to read about your troubles. We can try to help you make your luxury car work safely where officials are frozen in fear of costly repercutions... Let's not hold any hope to change anything besides your one case for free.
You need to use a good scanner to help us doctor the overgrown bugs planted in your car.
Suspect modules are front radars, ESP, MFK and CAN collaterals. I think your No1 bad guy is the unstable radar module wrongly deciding to call brakes ON.
Already you can easily unplug offending module at your own risk knowing that protection will be unavailable but quiet.
Lets have you scan whole car with your new LAUNCH CReader Elite... we look for bith ACTIVE/STORED Faults
