On the 722.6 transmission are all the solenoids/speed sensors the same regardless of the position they are in, in the conductor plate? My scanner code is telling me y3/6n3 speed sensor 3 is faulty.
I've never done this before. I think I will buy the entire service kit with conductor plate.
This is my first MB, bought it six months ago. 2008 sl55 amg. 59k miles. I've always been a Chevrolet, Toyota, and Jeep guy.....lol

The good thing is with your transmission, the conductor plate is not a theft item, meaning that it is not coded to the ECU. They are also fairly inexpensive to replace. Is this what you are thinking?

@BenzNinja To be clear, the 722.6 transmission has a separate TCU, while the 722.9 has an integrated TCU? If the conductor plate for the 722.6 is replaced, does the new plate need to be coded to the TCU or does the TCU need to be "adapted" to the new conductor plate speed sensors?
