Tightening Torque Spec Please - Engine Oil Drain Plug 2017 SL63 and 2019 S65
I cannot find a definitive answer anywhere. I am looking to know what the book says in the connection with the following:
Mercedes drain plug part #
1119970330 (fits many, many Mercedes vehicles including the two below)
Vehicles for which I seek the exact torque spec when tightening the above engine oil drain plug:
2017 AMG SL63 5.5L
2019 AMG S65 6.0L
Please help with a definitive answer — I already know it’s somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 and 30 newton-meters; I know the Goldilocks rule about tightening drain plugs, etc. Just looking for the exact specification from the manufacturer, and I am aware there are lots of highly experienced and expert folks on here who either know this offhand or who have access to this information. Thank you!

You can find the torque spec in the WIS/ASRA. My engine is the 176 4L TT, and its drain plug spec is 20Nm. If you can provide your chassis/model info, I can look for it.
Info needed: VIN first 3 letters (mine are WDC)
Chassis/Model (mine is 463261)
Engine (Mine is 176980)

These torque specs are much less than standard torque specs for an M12 or M14 used as a fastener. I'm guessing it has to do with applying enough compression to the crush washer to form a seal without mashing it, while ensuring the plug doesn't back out. Others might have better information.
