W212 2006 key wont turn just open doors (remote)
Guys
i’m trying to fix a w169 that run out of battery
after replacing the key wont turn, it doesnt even unlock the steering wheel.
the remote open the doors nicely. No lights on the dash.
any help?

The issue will be obvious under 5mn.

there's a great chance you're dealing with an aged steering lock known as ESL.
Connect a scanner to collect a report of chassis faults.
The issue will be obvious under 5mn.

i got this thing. Is it supposed to work like the video ? I saw that it might be version 117. … unfortunately It arrived 96.
