95 E320 won't crank

Cold start, happened suddenly - Inserted key, turned all the way, all lights came on, seatbelt buzzed, radio played, but engine didn't crank. Battery is 6 mos. old, tried jump anyway. Same thing. Ideas? Thanks, KG

Take it to a qualified mechanic. Make sure they Check air flow meter.

Sounds like a faulty Park/Neutral safety switch. Try putting it in neutral.

That's the ticket. Found out through a few sources, then tried it. It's also a $45 part that can be installed fairly easily, depending on one's comfort in getting underneath in a tight spot by the tranny. Thanks.
