Excessive pressure in fuel tank – Mercedes B200 CDI 2012
I have a 2012 Mercedes B200 CDI (diesel, 100 kW, 1800 cc) and I'm experiencing a strange issue. The car runs completely fine — no warning lights, no noticeable performance problems — but there's an excessive amount of pressure building up in the fuel tank.
When I open the fuel cap, diesel fuel actually comes out due to the high pressure. It’s like the tank is overpressurized.
Has anyone else had a similar issue? Any advice on what could be causing this?
I’ve attached a video where you can clearly see what’s happening.
Thanks in advance for any help!

I would not go replacing lucky-parts...
This circuit is fairly closely well monitored by the ECU.
Use your favorite scanner (Launch Elite) to read status of tank controls.
