Rate my cold start

Hey MBWorld gang.
I was thinking on doing chain tensioiners but torn if its worth doing it. I'm no expert on the 276 but I think this sounds normal, right? I'm at 54,000 miles. Regardless any input or just fun "Rate my startup" thread would be fun.

C43 M276 Startup Engine
  1. Engine fires up "quickly" with available high pressure
  2. ECU rapidly transition down Rpm's (no delays)
  3. ECU has excellent steady Rpm control.
  4. Zero hint of "startup-rattle", not even one ping!
  5. Really smooth running engine!
I'd give it a triple-A grade: AAA

-- What is your specific oiling setup: MOD-0;1;X ?

-- Is this "overnight cold" or a "1Hr cold" start ?

-- Couple mild-knocking right before dropping Rpm is from the HPFuel pump on sharp cam-lobes (not loose rod knocks): totally okay.

-- Limp secondary tensioners are wear items. Swap then at your convenience between 50 to 75kMi. They don't fall apart, they simply drain much needed VVT oil pressure to wear out lock pins...

-- Have you experienced the "Start - No-crank" ? Engine ignites as soon as it reaches a compression, like a quarter or half-turn. HPFP needs working pressure from a 1Hr shut-off.

Right now oil is Dealership MB stock w/ 2,800 on it. My plan is to swap to the 5W40 Molygen at 3k
This was overnight. About 18hours rest.
The way it starts up in the video is how its always sounded on startup since I picked it up. Turn fire fire, on.

Really appreciate the feedback.

Cold start sounds great as it is:
Crank-crank, fire up sequence.
No-delay, rapid Rpm transitions.

Is Molygen 5W40 better than stock Mobil-1 ?
Hard to say... at least you have a good base reference to compare with.
Whatever oil, keep it clean is a good practice.

HOT ENG IDLING

How about a fully hot engine idle at operating temp ?
Do your hear:
-1- Injectors crickets ?
-2- Direct injection whip cracking ?
