P209000 Actuator M276 Fault after replacing Camshaft Solenoid

So get this...
I order this kit from FCPEuro and I get my 4 Camshaft Solenoids for my project. They arrive but I get two that look new new, one with oil, and another that just seems used (scratches and all).

I then proceed to open up a case with FCPEuro and they send me two more (good on them). When I got the two replacements, one came in the anti-static bag (like the previous 2) and the other in that cheap plastic bag (like the scratched up one). I'm thinking to myself, why again! I open the two replacements and they do seem new. PN's match, says Z2008, 2379691CON matches, but I do notice that the 2nd from the bottom numbers don't match (24092208189G vs 25030708189G). Probably just OE manufactures. Fine... screw it. Installed it.

I did my project (new sparks, BOV, intake, reseal on the timing cover, new Camshaft Solenoid, and pigtails), fired her up and felt a weird idol after 20 seconds when it goes to the lower idol. Soft code gets thrown P209000 Actuator "Exhaust Camshaft" (Cylinder Bank 1) has A short circuit to Ground. I got the RPMs up a bit to maybe 1.5k and it will throw a check engine light with misfires on that side. Ignore the boost pressure sensor... My connector on the intercooler was loose

That oddball Camshaft Solenoid is installed in this bank which correlates to the engine code (I think). I even removed the pigtail, and connected it directly but no dice. I clear the codes and this one will come back.

I think FCPEuro screwed me on the parts right? Should I open a case with them again and get a replacement? Is this completely something different that I'm not understanding? Any input would be great.

BAD FCPe PARTS

Nope, you did a great job checking everything. Clearing the fault after un-plugging/re-plugging, removing pigtail.

Lets try to resolve this issue quickly...

Right now DTC says "short to GND" which may be either a shorted or open solenoid (depend how ECU sees this).
Knowing the above.... it may be the connector: male or female side. Inspect.

Then switch Bk1 exhaust solenoid to intake and intake to exh...
see if fault follows or stays.
Report test result.

Bingo Bango? Looks like it moved from the exhaust to the intake side on Bank 1. Time to write up an email to FCP Euro eh (or just link them here).
