For Sale: 1996 Mercedes Benz C36 AMG Sedan 95k miles - $11500 (Redondo Beach 90278)

Fully loaded, third owner, dealer maintained, California car, incredible condition inside and out, one of best C36s around. Silver exterior, black leather interior. Engine runs great, trans shifts crisply, steering is tight. Lorinser 18" LM2 two piece wheels (retail $1200 each) silver (not chrome), Pirelli PZERO tires (225-40R18 front, 255-35R18 rear). No door dings, no accidents, paint is excellent, interior excellent (original gray C36 AMG floor mats should be replaced). CD changer. Minor curb rash on wheels from original owner.
Less than 1000 of these vehicles were imported into the US. 1996 is most reliable year (95 models had initial quality issues, 97 models have tranny issues). Engine wiring harness has been replaced.

I purchased this car from a co-worker who purchased it from the original adult female owner in 2005 (I have many receipts and dealer records that will come with car). Reg good through Nov 2008, passes smog. I have loved driving this car, but I am selling to purchase an E46 M3. Car located in Redondo Beach, 90278 (South Bay).

Nice car. I actually live right down the street from that cars original owner back in 1995. It was a lady who drove it. She got a bit after I got my 1995 Black C36.

Car was always clean and well kept.

CynCarvin32 -- that is a really strange coincidence, but thanks for the kind words. The car is really in amazing shape for a 96, but I guess MBs are built to last!

GlockDaddy -- Sorry, I don't have the original Monoblocks, but I did find a place in Orange County that would sell a refurb set for something like $1200. I've thought about finding a set of the original wheels, but now that I'm selling it, its probably better to let the new owner get what he wants.

AMG Monoblocks are very popular with C36/C43 owners. These were some of the only MB that had one of the best looking set of wheels for OEM. It can be done in the right taste but it is not easy to find wheels that look better than a pair of AMG mono II's for a W202.

On the same hand "my personal opinion" is that these wheels were alittle trendy some years ago and are a little out dated. They just dont do the mighty C36 any justice. Sorry. Again this is only my $.02, as not to offend.

the only better look is the AMG style III that was originally fit on the W211 - 18x8 and 18x9 - have them on my 202 and the look amazing - give the 202 a little more show than the monoblocks, but they are hard to find.
