FS: 2006 SL55 VR550

Thinking of selling my 2006 SL55. Irridium silver with ash interior. SL65 style rims. Keyless go, parktronic, pano roof, satellite radio are the options on it. 20k miles. 1 1/2 years of warranty left. No body or paint work ever done on it. Modded with the VR550 package as well as upgraded intercooler pump and PTE thermostat. Put down 451 rwhp and 560 torque on the dyno at Classic BMW's Dynodynamics machine on dyno day with the local auto club a month ago. Want to upgrade to an SL65.

$72k

I don't have many good pictures of it right now as it's been raining all week here in Dallas. Here's a couple that I have on hand that I took not long ago.

You mean charcoal(black) leather? Because it does have the gray leather.

One of the other forum members here drove it around for a day to check it out as well. I'm sure he wouldn't mind answering any questions anyone has about it.

I should also mention that I have 4 brand new Toyo T1R tires going on the car this week. Whoever buys it will have a new set of rubber to burn to their hearts content.

To me, charcoal is the least attractive interior for a convertible. You can't leave the top open because the leather will bake.

The ash interior in bfnnrgn's car is immaculate. And the car rips! I've driven 5 SL55's and that one drives like they're supposed to.

Yes, especially here in Texas where the sun is strong a black interior is a liability. You can't put your arms on the armrest or up on the window without burning yourself in a black interior if you have the top down.

And yes, my car is quite nuts when you hit the gas and I've owned and driven many AMGs and mine is kind of a freak.

I'll let this go for $70k. It's a steal of a price for a car like this in immaculate shape.

It's a sign of the times that this car is still available. Credit dries up and those with cash sitting on the sidelines and great cars sit unloved.
There's not a stock 911 out there that is as quiet, quick and smooth riding as this car.

Yep, it's their loss though. It's about to end up at some dealership where you'll have to pay a premium for the priviledge of buying it from them. An SL65 is being arranged for me now. I should have it next week.

Last chance guys...
