I believe some use the "R" terminology to refer it as "Roadster"?

Rather than saying R129? Cause all SL's are "roadsters" so it's not like one needs to make the differentiation when the car is already advertised as an SL. Just trying to figure out what is unusual about this car....

I agree with you... a "R129 SL500" is what it is... looks sharp in the pics though, don't it?

Hang in there bud, it's a tough seller's market for R129's. I've had mine listed since the summer, priced competitively too, and all I've had to deal with are low ball offers and dead ends. Might as well enjoy it in the meantime.
