Tell your friend to call an auto broker to find an e55. I'm sure they find what he is looking for at the right price. That 05' for $21k was a great deal.

Has price changed on this at all? I just test drove an 06 at a mercedes dealer, had 38k miles and they were asking $38k and when I was leaving he said they could do better than that. Granted it did not have pano. If your's was around that price i'd be interested but i need to trade a car and i'm guessing you aren't a dealer

I think most people are trying to help the seller realize that a quick check of almost every Internet for sale site shows similar, or lower mileage cars, for $10,000 less or more. The market dropped these wonderful cars values dramatically, and continues to do so. Good luck with the sale....I never begrudge anyone to ask what they want for a car. Heck, just keep and enjoy it. Some posts may be off topic, but they are giving your over-priced car a nice bump to the top.

I would buy that car tomorrow if it was even reasonably priced. But you really are barking up the wrong tree with that price. And I mean that, I am looking for that exact same car. I love it. But I could get an E63 for that price. KBB.com is a joke. No one EVER gets the numbers that they tout. We are headed into a serious recession, and the auto market as a whole is losing - BIG TIME.

It seems to me that you can't sell either car. Even $30K for the 2004 is getting no takers. (PS that is a really nice car too.)
