UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE

Hello All,

UPDATE:

I decided not to sell my car anymore, as I have future plans with it.

For those who helped or contribute positive feedback, THANKS!

Negative feedback guys, grow up or just don't say anything at all. This is suppose to be MB World, not just another web forum to make fun of other people or follow the crowd.

Why was my price so high blah blah blah...

emoving "At that price it will probally become a paper weight!"

You are right, it's my paper weight...

I'm BALLER like that!

is 43k considered high mileage for these cars? I have an 06 with 44k miles on it and I thought it was considered to be normal.

The average driver puts on roughly 15,000 miles per year. An 06 model has to be at lease 3 1/2 years old depending on manufacturer date.

So your within normal miles for an 06 model.

High-Baller maybe. You are right, this is mbworld. and it seems like you thought you would walk in here and ask 50% more for your car than its worth and get pissed when no one wants to throw money at you.

I told you....I would bring you a suitcase full of Benjamin's if that car was even reasonably priced. It is beautiful.

Oh well.

I will find a nicer one, and I'm sure it will be cheaper.

Listen, I just sold my 06 w39k on it for $35, so I feel your pain,,, but if your such a baller, why were you even selling it in the first place. Put some mods on that paper weight and enjoy it! These cars are all paper weights right now unless one wants to give one away like I did.

I like how so many potential buyers are getting upset because the prices of POVs don't drop down to the Auction prices. The ones with no hook-ups for an auction purchase... go purchase one from a lot.

For the record, doesn't matter what the heck YOU might sale your car for and or feel your entitled to purchase a car less than what you chose to let yours go for. Not to mention, think a lot of people here are smart enough to know; the people that keep tossing up the economy and auction prices trying to back their low ball offers are CHEAP!

If you take offence to this then fine, about like some of you have on hearing a No to your offer.

Lastly, if you don't have anything good to say then don't say anything. I understand some might feel they are the approvals of the world and need to spout off but it isn't needed and you are looking like whiners when doing so.

OP, good luck, feel your pain and I am about ready to keep mine and part of this goes from the pain in the a$$ dealing with some folks and their unique way to try and back a low ball offer based off what they feel is appropriate and beneficial only to them. Cheers!

Hello Everyone,

I'M SORRY if I offended anyone in the past with my replies or comment(s).

I never understood why people were comparing my asking price to Manheim Auto Auction pricing. From what I understand, Manheim is for Auto Dealer(s) or Auto Brokers in the business to make money. Some of the members on this board has access to Manheim which is great for you, enjoy it!

My 2 cents:

99.9% of us are not Auto Dealers or Auto Brokers, so don't expect to buy at Manheim pricing. If you want to buy a car at Manheim pricing, then find a broker or dealer that is willing to work with you.

Moving on, I plan to add some mod's in the near future. So wish me luck with my build!
