Full price of buyout is the residual plus what ever payments are left..your looking around 70k...it's a waste to buy these cars...Easier to just swap the lease...pm me with questions.

What's the point, you can lease them brand new for $1100 per month all day long.

Well you'd like to think he knows what he's talking about...with a RSR3Turbo and a W219 and all. GL to OP though!

He does have an impressive line up of cars and he may be right. That isn't my point.

If you've ever tried to sell something on here and had someone make a post like that saying "Whats the point" to selling your car it really gets you angry. In my opinion, if he isn't interested, why not move on to another classified ad? Why make a negative remark?

K...coming off my soapbox now. Bump!

So you get upset for him advising all the other "forum members" that they may be better off leasing a new C63 over taking over a used one? Seems a bit hypocritical to me.

I agree, he is just pointing out to the OP that he should lower the price to find a reasonable buyer, cars aren't worth what you think anymore.

I guess there is a difference of opinion. I don't think a members classified threads are the place to suggest to someone to go elsewhere for a better deal, or to say the OP asking price is too much, etc.... To me, that would be better handled as a personal negiotation in pm's....which this clearly was not.

I just don't understand why someone would make a negative remark in a classified thread? If it happens to you when you try to sell your car here, you'll understand. On the other hand, maybe this rum is making me too sensitive. Bash on!!

The only way to get rid of a lease is if it is short term or you offer a big incentive...

I hear what you're saying but most members on these forums also rely on other members to help them not only with ideas and problems for their cars, but also to find the best deals possible. Perhaps the OP got a good deal on his car at the time and there is just better ones out there now. It is a bit of a touchy subject though. At least now he knows to offer some incentives to make his car a little more appealing to others.
