WTB: '04-'06 E55 AMG *ONLY WANT WHITE!!*

I am looking for a 2004 - 2006 E55 in white with the charcoal interior. I prefer a car with a warranty, but will consider all cars. Options that I would like are:

* Panoramic roof
* Keyless Go
* Bi-Xenon headlights
* Dynamic seats
* Heated and cooled seats with Pulse
* Navigation
* Park Distance alert

Please let me know what you have available even if you do not have all of these options, or have other options as I am a bit flexible on everything except the color of the car. Thank you, and have a wonderful day. :thumbsup:

Yes, I have been watching that one. With his price in the $40's, the new E-class coming out soon, and the market on these cars plummeting more and more by the day, I do not really feel comfortable with that yet. Similar mileage 2005 cars that I have been negotiating on are around $32k.

We are looking for the exact same car. Let's not get in a bidding war! Unfortunately some folks seem to think it is up to me to pay-off their loan. I am sure the right car at the right price will come along. Always has. But, in the interim, if you find a white one with Pano and keyless that you don't want to move on, please let me know.

There was a super clean one about 3-4 months ago. It was very modded and I think a show car but very very clean and looked awesome. Go back to this period and I dont know if it ever sold. I think he was offering trades as well.

LOL! No bidding war here, my friend. PM me. I have one that I am passing on that I can give you the lead on if you are interested. I want one with CPO and this particular car does not have a CPO warranty.

I'm in the market also for a white E class. Though I may be happy with a E500 and not necessarily the AMG. How much would E500's run about? I'm not in a hurry so should I wait for the new E class to debut to see prices drop more?

7,100 miles and looks really clean. Price is reasonable for a 2006 @ $41K...

KCD: I'm in the market for a white e63 so won't be bidding against you anytime soon!

In regards to if you find a seller who wants you to pay off his loan, this is a tricky situation and thought I'd give you a few tips. It's not unusual for a seller to ask you to pay off his loan since not everyone has cash to pay it off first or they would not get the loan!

1) Essentially you need a written bill of sale signed by both parties.
2) Check who holds the lien, if it's a bank, go with him to the bank so you can pay off the lien at the bank in person. (so you know he won't take the money and run)
3) You will get the car plus keys once you both sign the bill of sale and pay off his lien. Ask the bank to send the lien directly to you if possible.
4) You give him a check for the difference of the lien and your agreed on sum. For example $40k is the sale price, lien is $20k so you pay the bank $20k and you give him a check for $20k.

It's not the easiest way to do a car transaction but certainly not a deal breaker if you really like the car and the seller seems trustworthy.

I appreciate the lead, not so much the condescending attitude though. I will call them in the morning and see the specifics. It does look like a nice car, eventhough it is missing the Panoramic roof that I really would like to have, the mileage is appealing.

Totally LOL on your comment "condescending attitude". There is always sarcasm and a bit of freindly banter on this forum.

I will hold my comments to myself until I learn if you have purchased anything.

In the meantime, keep it real...

I spoke with the owner of this car before the weekend, and he sounds like a very nice and straight up guy. The car is missing one of the main things that I really want, the Panoramic roof, but is very clean otherwise. 2 owners so far, and he said the car come with a transferrable Mercedes CPO warranty. As I understood it, I did not think these were transferrable. Does anyone know for sure, or have they done it themselves?

DEFFINETLY NOT TRANSFERABLE. Only the original factory warranties are transferable.

CPO warranties are definately transferable if bought from a PRIVATE owner and not from a dealer......

Who gave you that information? I ask because I called my dealer today to see if CPO was transferrable, and they said not unless the car was bought from a Mercedes dealer.

LOL!! Why not? They are stealth rocketships, and safe. I am not in a hurry, I just want the right car. The more that I track down, the more I really want to get the Panoramic roof. How did you like yours? Why did you sell it?
