Adaptive dual-stage front air bags are deployed in response to frontal impact severity and Occupant Classification System (OCS) for passenger seat.
ETDs are deployed in a front or rear impact exceeding a preset threshold of severity, or certain rollovers. An ETD will not deploy if seat belt is unfastened.
Occupant Classification System:

Just a few pointers for you, as I'm sure a number of people will point this out. We don't care about your "glass protection", your "paint protection" you got ripped off, not our fault. We don't care about the taxes you paid on the vehicle. We know what comes on a SL65, and what doesn't. We don't need to read a novel to find out what we already know.
Now what you need to realize, is that you purchased a car at the end of it's life, the SL just had a facelift. I'm not sure if you missed that while writing your novel. Also, the 65 has never ever ever held it's value. Horrible thing to deal with, we all feel bad for you. My point is that you could never hope to get $129k for this car. It's nice, looks great, but unless you find some guy with more money than sense that just have to have the designo package, you're screwed. Good luck in finding that guy though. May want to go and see what the dealer will give you for a nice wake up call.

These guys are a little harsh although you are def on the high side. Wholesale is mid to high 80's. I would say the right buyer you might be able to squeeze 100k but it will take time and big ticket cars like this are a tough sell right now. I actually think long term this is a car to hold onto.

Sweet car. Not surprised that the "auction value" crowd has rolled out. No kidding, the aution value is way lower than that. Really?? Really?? No kidding. I'm sure the final price will be less than the ask, but KNOCK IT OFF with cars like this and go play "Auction Police" on an '04 E500 somewhere.

Hey im providing info, do what u want with it...U wanna pay 100k for a car than is worth mid 80's more power to u....But buy that car for a 100k and go to a dealer and ask what he'll give you on trade....My guess mid 80's...It is what it is....These cars are at auction not because there's a problem with them its because dealers dont wanna hold a hugely depreciating asset that doesnt sell...Anyway, im just providing info, do with it what you will...
