FS - 2005 S600 Sport - RennTech, HRE
I was hoping to keep this car for a long time but I am in a position where I should sell it. It is a 2005 S600 Sport with the AMG body kit. This car is loaded with nearly everything including Parktronic, Distronic, Navigation, Bluetooth, heated/ventilated seats front and rear, Keyless-Go, wood steering wheel, power rear sunshade, power trunk opener/closer, etc. The car is black/black with 35K miles. I have had the windows tinted with 3M tint, lowered the car with adjustable links, added the RennTech ECU/TCU tuning, S65 mufflers with resonator delete and installed 20" HRE brushed/polished wheels (over $18k in extras). The car has new brakes and new tires and is covered under the Diamler Chrysler warranty until August 2011. I have a lot of money invested in this car but the economy/work situation forces a sale. I am selling it for $39,000. This car was selling for $60k a year ago without the modifications or the warranty. I would just like to cut my losses and move on. Please PM me for any additional information or pictures. Thanks.

I have not had the car re-dyno'd with the new exhaust, but the crank horsepower on the car increased from 491 to 617 (actual figures from dyno sheet and drivetrain loss calculations made, all on 91 octane fuel). The S65 is rated at 605, so this car should be comparable if not a little faster than an S65. The torque went from 572 crank to 780 crank, again taking drivetrain losses into consideration from the dyno sheets provided by DynoComp.
I have added some pictures to my Photobucket account. Please click below, keeping in mind that I have not taken any updated pictures with the S65 exhaust yet. There is a short video of the new exhaust however. I will get some new pictures up soon.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Why oh why do I see this ad when I'm looking for a GL that's more expensive than this one? Certainly makes me want to trash my idea of buying a GL and get this one instead
GL with sale... I'm certainly tempted.

To those of you that complimented my car...thank you. To those of you that wanted to be opportunistic and lowball the price...the car is no longer for sale. I paid the car off yesterday, added some 100 octane gas today and could not believe the difference in performance over the crummy 91 octane that we have out here. I will keep this car and enjoy it for the next few years before I give it away

4 wheeled car.
I thought the car was badass until I saw this with the muffler tips tucked underneath the bumper, aiming down, and that nasty sound that doesn't belong on an S class http://s103.photobucket.com/albums/m...t=MVI_0664.flv

V-12 side badging has been removed - it has RennTech emblems there now.
As far as the sound, that is at cold, rich idle. The car quiets down dramatically after about 20 seconds. Go listen to an AMG 65 car and it sounds very similar (especially with the echo you get when using a camera to take the video). Also, the tips do not point down or tuck in, that is the camera angle. And this "nasty sounding" S-Class will destroy your E55 like it was a little Yugo - sounds mean because it is mean. Your Porsche-wanna-be calipers are certainly not my style, but I have never really felt the need to go out of my way to make negative comments on them - we each have our own style which is what makes this hobby great. But thanks for your opinion

I think you got a beautiful S600! ..IMHO, I would have kept the V12 side badging, but thats just my personal opinion. Love the car though!
