2001 Mercedes E55 AMG
Hey guys
Looking to sell my 01 E55. heres details:
92,500 miles
fully loaded, navi, rear sun shade, lumbar seats, xenons, sunroof, etc
no accidents or issues
SRS light is on for the passenger seat, i believe its the dreaded switch
Brabus replica with new tires (BFG front and dunlop direzza rear)
stock wheels come with winter tires (worn out)
x-pipe mod
tail lights and front markers are tinted black.
there is a lil bit of rust, under the trunk lid handle, and rear driver side door under the trim. thats it tho...
Any other questions, feel free to ask. I have the option to ship (at buyers expense). The car is on consignment thru a dealership, so anyone local can finance.
Asking $14,995 obo.

I would try to get the SRS light and rust fixed before you try to sell. Those probably aren't going to be very expensive for you to fix, but they are potentially major (safety) issues that will scare people off.

jebus people, how old are we? i got what i wanted for it, the buyer got a great condition car. thats what he wanted and in MN, there are VERY few of them. choices are limited! they pay to play!

yea, i suppose i got a lil bit higher then value, but you gotta remember this is MN, the options are rare. he wanted a E55, he got one, a clean one at that. there were only 2 for sale locally, the other was a beat up 1999 with 140k on it for $9K. obviously he was going to buy mine.

So you guys are saying that 2001 E55's should sell for 7-9k, the same price as E320's. This doesn't seem right to me. that's pretty low
Congrats on getting that price. I'll be in the same boat as you soon enough I can gurantee I won't be putting it up for 7k.

unfortunately, the time of yr now is not to sell a "valuable" car like this. with winter around the corner, it was tough...

Congrads on your E55 Sale. I too just sold mine to someone who wanted a clean, low mile, well set up W210 E55. Although nice, not everyone values a W211 E55 over a W210 E55. Mine was a win-win for both parties.

Agreed. This was my 5th Benz. Half of them have been the higher end AMG versions. Unfortunetly, the higher $$ versions drop faster in value than their standard cousins. Would love to own any of the Black Series however, this trend will not change, it's sad.
