This is an incredible car for the money...
those who are not familiar with this car..it is the most reliable and easiest to tune...v12's are almost zero problems...based on a mercedes survey compared to the v8's.....an easy 680hp and over 750 lbs of torque can be made with this car for under $1000.00 this is reliable hp ....
less then 1000 of these cars were built in the 2003-2006 years...
own a car not everyone has....compared to a E55 or G37 on the same price range this car is superior.....by far
the guys who spend $60k on a C63 makes me cringe...the cars have no keyless and look like a jacked up C class...basically a cheap Benz with a big motor....sorry but I had to say this....

The CL is probably the sexiest coupe ever made. The interior absolutely crushes any C-Class, C63 included. However I'm not fond of the years that had the small CD-based NAVI.
THE C63 reminds me of a late model GTO with an insane drug molested MSRP...$67k???? what? I can buy a GTR,S65,CTS-V,CLS63...etc. .....get a better ride and still have loot in the bank.....
I wouldnt buy a C63 unless it was in the high $20k range...they will be there in a year....the car does nothing for me.....I recently picked up a 2006 S65 for close to $40k....100x the car the C63 is...power...looks and RARITY......the C class is simply the lowest bottom of the barrel Benz with a big motor.....also a common rental car....not much in engineering in that car....the engine in the 65 is the world's most powerful engine put in a passenger car...reliable too boot.....sorry but when I go to a restaurant I like to order the Chef special not the hot dog and fries...
WHEN I someone driving a C63...ALL I say to myself it "another sucker".........they could of had a mind blowing AMG ...but was sold on the cracker jack toy

Have you ever even driven one for more than a day?
You are compairing a 2004 car to a 2009?
Also its not about the HP, its about power to weight ratio.
Put his phone number in google and you will see his agenda.
I have a dealer license it is not what I do full time....I dont drive all the cars I buy...some are not driven at all by me and others I drive until they sell....
I can understand and see why the C63 guys chimed in.....no reason to defend
anything...opinions are like *******s we all have one...so my opinion shouldnt get your panties in a bunch
I was comparing a 2004 to a 2008 or 2009? And this means what? Back in 2004 Mercedes was building **** cars? lol They are 2 different cars...but one is superior....and power to weight ratio?
The CL600 is not much heavier and it is 10x the car a C63 is IMO
Does it matter? Who here likes to play slalom with cars on the street?
In other words stop and go and cruising is the most any of these cars will allow. In everyday driving a CL600 will do just what any C63 would but much more comfortable and much quicker....and for the money a C63 costs used ..a S65 OR cl65 OR cl600 or CLS55 or E63 is 10x the car...as simple as that....

You're an idiot.
Sorry it is true mercedes doesnt make as good cars back then they are always improving also have fun with fixing your car every few months.
Mercedes is always improving or are they? Take a good look at the new E class..it has the generic rear of most cars...IE a Honda...yes the tech the car is great and it is a great piece of engineering but in the style department they have gone backwards on that one....as well as taking a lot of interior from the C class ....which I think it was a mistake when adding thousands to a MSRP over a car from a lower level...
As for the C63....what exactly is an imrovement? A N/A engine...plastic interior without even keyless go and a nut and bolt exterior compared to a Chevrolet Cobalt in body paneling and fit and finish.....sorry but Mercedes dumps all their money in the CL's and the S's ....these cars get the best of what they offer..AMG and so on......the rest of the cars are just not the same...and intended that way by corporate....

In the end it comes down to how much a person is enjoying their car, and from what I get from the C63 board, most everyone is happy with their purchase.
Besides, they might be looking for a more aggressive styling compared to a CLS63 or S55 AMG (this of course is a matter of one's opinion again). Maybe they do not like the bigger size of these two cars or just do not want to deal with extended warranties and such to early down the road and therefore decided for the C63.

Edmunds Curb Weight for 03 CL600: 4300lbs
You simply have no idea what your talking about.
I'm going to have to say a v12 bi-turbo is better than a 6,3l 8cyl for highway driving which the CL is intended for. It's beyond obvious that you can throw a c63 around the track better than CL600, one is a 4 door sports sedan the other is a 2 door luxury grand touring coupe, on highway are you c63 guys really saying a c63 has a better highway drive than v12 bi-turbo? I don't think that's the debate lol...Either way both great cars
, love the oranges to apples comparison

that is a bad hit on a car owned for only a year.....
as for weight ....there is a difference and again who drives their cars around like an F1 Indy car anyway? NOBODY....so the weight-handling is pointless as long as it doesnt roll around like a pickup
