2009 SLK 55 AMG
S> 2006 Mercedes Benz C280 ~23k Miles, warranty, black -=$21,500=-

Hello, I am selling my car:

2006 Mercedes Benz C280
Exterior: Black
Interior: Black
Mileage: 23,xxx
Warranty: Existing
Title: Clear
Condition: Immaculate. Carfax can be provided
Pink Slip: In-Hand
Price: $21,500 obo [Current Offer: $18,000 as it sits]

KBB: $17,800 ~ $20,500
That's without the Bi-X and Eisenmann.
So $21,500 is a very fair price.
I take reasonable offers into serious consideration.

Here are some pictures of the car:

Car is used as transportation to school, UC Davis, from San Francisco.
I am a UC Davis Undergraduate Student, Junior Standing.
I am the second owner; car purchased in January 2009 from a very sweet and nice family.
I have babied this car, much like the previous owner has.
Car is accident free, carfax approved.
Paint is beautiful. No dings or dents.

There is existing warranty until June 2010.

(I believe there may be a wheel and tire package. << Un-Sure.
I believe there may also be a paint protection package. << 99% Sure.)
I will find out when I go back to SF the coming weekend, Jan 16-18th, 2010.

Car has always been serviced at a Mercedes shop.
I have all books, records, and information for the car.

Car is washed every other weekend when I go back to San Francisco.
Detailed whenever I feel like it's not shiny enough.
Tires have plenty of life left.
Rims are very lightly curbed due to my parents' inability to parallel park.

Car Perks:

Black on Black!
Engine: V6, 228hp/221ft-lbs-tq (The very same engine that's in the new C-Class, C300)
Fits family of Five
Multi-informative Dash and controls on Steering Wheel
19mpg City, 24mpg Freeway (~17-30mpg from my experience)
Car does not gulp oil, but sips it like fine wine, fine premium wine that helps engine live very long.
Bi-Xenons (3k factory option)
Engine Immobilizer
Key Fob with nice Mercedes Emblem on it
Fog Lights
Auto-On Variable Lights: Daytime, Foglights, Bi-Xenon + Fogs, High Beams
3M Non-Metallized Tints: Lifetime Warranty, 35% fronts, and 20% rears
Heated Front Seats
Power Front Seats
Power Roof
Power Side Mirrors
Heated Side Mirrors
Blue Liquid Auto-Dimming, Anti-Glare Rear-View-Mirror
Blue Liquid Auto-Dimming, Anti-Glare Driver-Side-Mirror
Comfort Lighting (lights on, exiting/entering vehicle)
Dark Burl Wood trim
6-Hidden In Glove CD Changer
Power Rear SunShade
Fold Down Rear Seats
Rear Fold Down Cup Holders
Rear Arm Rest
Dual Illuminated Front Vanity Mirrors
Automatic Dual-Zone Climate Controls
Rear Dual Climate
Black Leather trim 4-spoke steering wheel
Touch Turn Signals
Speed Sensitive Rain Sensors
Exterior Temperature Guage
Digital and Tachometer Speedometer
Current Date and Time
Gas Consumption and Trip Computer
Miles till next Service
Kick-Down Blip: Throttle down, and the button beneath the gas pedal will downshift one gear to utilize the car's 228hp&221ft-lbs-tq

Extras:

Eisenmann Race Exhaust 83mm Dual Tip
--Bolt On exhaust.
---Purpose: Unleashes the beautifully deep growl of a V6. Will remain on the car if you'd like, or returned to stock. You will receive stock exhaust as well.

CL Style Star Grille
--Powdercoated in Black to match the car. Stock grille is chrome, and has no star. This is for cosmetics. Very simple to remove, only requires a regular wrench. Can be taken off and returned to original grille if you'd like.

Custom Mercedes White Star Flat Hood Badge
--Limited Edition flat hood badge that replaces the upright star; #348 out of 350. I didn't want to have my upright star stole, so I bought this badge to have a flush look in the front. This badge isn't the cheap plastic badge you get from Mercedes for 30$, which does not even fit into the hood groove, and damages the paint! Badge will be negotiated at time of sale. If the price is right, it's yours. Otherwise... I'm keeping it. Hehe.

Other things in Final Sale:

Both keys
All Trinkets from Mercedes
4x Window Visors
OEM SunScreen
OEM Leather Case with all Books and Service Booklets
OEM Mercedes (4) Floormats & (1) Trunk Mat
OEM Spare Wheel and Tire
OEM Jack
OEM Spare Nuts and Bolts
OEM Emergency Kit
OEM Mercedes-Benz Flashlight
A Handshake

Price is open to reasonable offers.

Reason for selling car: I don't NEED a car as luxurious as this one right now; by all means: I love this car. It's amazing. But I rather have some money to pay off school loans, and use the rest towards something I want now.

Here are some reasons as to why you should buy this car:

My Peers:

-Amazing Daily Driver
When you unlock the car it greets you with 3 orange flashes from the Bi-X, Side Mirrors, and Rear Lights.
You open the door, and sit down.
Once you've inserted the key into the ignition, the steering wheel unlocks itself with little more than a twitch to welcome your presence.
You turn the key.
This black bison roars to life; deep throaty grumbles people take note of from the free flowing 83mm dual tip Eisenmann exhaust from Germany.
You sit there. Enjoying the comfort of what you own.
The black leather, the chrome mercedes star emblem smack dab in the middle of the steering wheel, the soft climate set air wafting into your face, the comfort of the seats, and the destination you take the long way to get to.
Life is great.

(Daily experiences are from what I feel, yours may be different.)

-Low mileage: this engine will outlast any honda or toyota with the regular maintenance. The car will tell you when it needs your attention.
-05+ Model of Mercedes have almost all the kinks and problems worked out. Reliability is back from decline.
-Highest Crash safety rating. Put yourself and those you care about in a safe car. A car is meant to get you from Point A to Point B safely. A mercedes just ensures you and loved ones safety, and adds comfort as a cherry on top.
-Cheap to maintain. Oil changes every 6-13,000 compared to any other car 3-5,000. Full Synthetic protects your engine better and longer. I recommend 6,000 mile oil changes, but that's just me.
-Amazing gas mileage as it's a small 3.0L V6.
-Prestige. You know what Mercedes is.
-You will work harder in school with this car as a perk.
-You will drive safely as you do not want to hurt this baby.
-Insurance is lower on this car as it's a luxury car, and not a sport car.
-Overall, it's a deal! Car costs $38,000 new! For the price of an Entry-Level Honda, you could be driving a Black on Black Mercedes Benz C280 that blows your mind.

Mature Buyers:
-Read the above.
-Low Mileage
-Great Gas Mileage
-Mature owners
-Reliability
-Long lasting
-Safety: Put you and your loved ones in a Mercedes Benz. Imagine if you get into an accident. Mercedes' doors are built to withstand a 200lb person standing on it. The doors close with solid authority that you can noticeably feel as built to protect and insulate you from your environment. This is a crazy world. Protect yourself with a Mercedes.

More pictures available upon request.
Feel free to email questions.
Offers kept in reasonable ranges will be considered, and negotiated.
Test drives, or checking out the car welcomed. No tire-kickers.
Would like to sell to someone who will treasure it as well as I have.

Please post in this topic if interested, or send a PM.
I prefer local meet-up sales, because it's much safer that way.
I am willing to ship if the buyer pays via cheque, and provides his/her own form of transportation. I use Bank of America.

There are No Liens or anything on the car; Has been fully paid for.
Ready to sell for the right price, any time.

how much would you be willing to part with that grille for? I have a 2007 c280 black and am looking for a grill to put in there, but dont really want to go to something on ebay. Any suggestions if you aren't willing to part with yours?

A car with 23K miles on it and is already needing oil added between changes isn't a good thing. If that's not the case, you may want to revise your wording here because that's what I understand from it.

How do you get needs to add oil between changing oil from what I wrote O.o

I don't understand how you read English, but what I intended to convey was that the car gets great mpg.

I really don't know.
I may just part out my Eisenmann, Bi-X, CL Grille and White Star Flat soon.
I'll let you know if that happens.
I'll decide within the next 2 weeks.

Car is now at about... 24,000 Miles.
I will be taking it in for Service B, and getting a certificate that everything is in working order =]

Take it easy buddy. You said the engine sips "oil" in your description. Its pretty typical to add oil if you're losing some. I'll admit my assumption was incorrect, but that was based on your incorrect description. You now mention the car's mpg. So you meant to use the word "fuel" or "gas" instead of the word "oil". I get it. GLWTS.

I'm sorry. It was a long day or it was a bad day at the time of my previous post. I apologize if I sounded disrespectful.

I thought about this now, and you are correct--my choice of words was poor.

CAR DOES NOT HAVE OIL CONSUMPTION PROBLEMS.

What I meant to say is that it has great GAS mileage.

Car lowered to $20,000 as it sits with everything.
Service B will be taken care of within this or next week whenever my shop has a time slot for me to go in.

2009 SLK 55 AMG
Updates:

Current Price: $20,000 as it sits with everything.

$19,500 without Bi-Xenons and the Eisenmann Exhaust
Stock parts will be put back in.

Car now has 24,2xx miles. Car is still being driven, so mileage will change.
Service B is due, I am considering a trade-in for an '06 SLK 55 AMG, so I will see how that works out. If I get a good deal, I'll trade in.
Otherwise, I'll take care of Service B and continue selling.
