I don't have the original window sticker but was able to research MSRP prices and options (see below) and its still under a transferable factory CPO 100K mile warranty until September 2011. It currently has 28,561 miles and comes with most options (DVD Navigation, Parktronic, Keyless Entry/Go, Panoramic Roof, Bi-Xenons, TPMS, Handsfree Telephone Voice Control (Bluetooth), Active Ventilated Heated/Cooled Seats, Satellite Radio, Both Keys, Manuals, AMG floor mats etc) except Distronic and Automatic Trunk Closer. It has been maintained and serviced by Mercedes Benz since new IAW the A and B schedules and the service is current. I just bought a 2007 SL55 fully optioned including the performance package with 7200 miles. Car is red with black interior and essentially in perfect condition. Probably overpaid but I love the color combination and doubt that there are many others like it since fewer than 60 2007 SL55's had the performance option and of those not many were red and of those fewer still had a black interior. Purchased an additional two years on top of the one year warranty from MB. Car is ridiculously striking in appearance.

Think that if I keep the car for a number of years what I paid for it won't matter - 76K plus the additional warranty and shipping.

Interesting because used 09 SL63's are still over 100K and not as desirable at least for me. In fact, on AutoTrader there are presently over 60 SL63's for sale. Exactly how many performance package 07/08 SL55 cars came into the country? I will stick with the one I found fully optioned with only 7200 miles. Wouldn't trade it straight up for any current model in the MB line. That may sound ridiculous but I think 07/08 may have been the sweet spot for SL55's and SL65's for the present model run. Feel free to comment/disagree because I'm sure your opinions would be interesting.
