2006 CLS 55 AMG 030 performance pkg
I have decided to sell my CLS in hopes of making room for a sports car. Specs on the car are.
2006 CLS 55 AMG
030 package
dynamic seats
heated / cooled seats
NAV + 6disc changer
etc....
all options except dynamic cruise and parking sensors.
I just put the vossen wheels and nitto invo tires on the car around 1k miles ago. The car has 53k miles on it, I had a friend with a dealer license purchase the car for me at the Mercedes Benz sale in Memphis about a year ago, so it is listed as a 1 owner car.
It has never been wrecked and has a clean car fax. I will post interior shots very soon.
I'm asking 39k with both sets of wheels, (other set are the 030 split five spoke wheels, they are in perfect shape and have tires with 80% life left)
Please feel free to contact me with any questions. 913-915-0845 or wrapfactory@gmail.com
Thanks
James

Dude, what the hell? I held up my end... where are you? You didn't show up for the PPI, you won't get in touch with me, and now I have to cancel the insurance we prepared for it and move all the money back into the accounts it came from. Way to waste of lot of people a lot of time.

Still, no word at all from him (texted, emailed, called, and posted here).

Finally got in touch. There were scheduling issues with getting to the dealer this morning. The deal is off due to my apparently threatening demeanor, and that's not the type of person he wants to do business with. The only thing I can think of is my message at 5:00 today that said if he couldn't get the car in to the dealer before they closed, then I'd have to call off the deal. That message was left 29 hours after our last contact, 7.5 hours after he said the car would be at the dealer (hence missing the PPI I arranged), and 14 hours before we were scheduled to leave to drive there. I called 12 times in the gap, and left 6 text messages - never had the chance to try and reschedule. :dunno:
I'm used to working things out, but when you agree to meet at 9:30, then you can either a) meet at 9:30 or b) contact the involved parties to inform them that you can't make it.
He did say I never told him what time I planned to pick the car up on Saturday. While technically true, I did send him a message asking which Enterprise location was closest and said we planned to drive up Friday and back on Saturday. Since I never heard back from him, I never even had the chance to try and figure out a particular time.
What I really can't do is leave home without hearing from the dealer that the car is actually there for the PPI. Since I have to leave early for the 13 hour drive, it means the car would need to be there when the dealer opened so the tech could tell me a) that the car is there and b) what time he would have the inspection report done.
I really like the car, but this has been a beyond frustrating experience in communication.

My fiancee was about to explode yesterday. She's a researcher and her schedule rearrangements cost her about a week's worth of data, since an experiment she was originally planning to do would have run into Friday and Saturday.

You forgot to mention how after he ignored all your texts, emails and phone calls to him, he finally decides to call you back... only to go on a crazy rant about things that have nothing to do with the sale (and not giving you a chance to clear up any misunderstandings by hanging up on you right after he finished his tantrum). Based on that phone call, it seems that either this guy is a) psychologically unstable, or b) he was up to something shady and was trying to cover up for it.
One more weird thing involves the carfax he gladly included in our early correspondance. The report was run on Nov. 29, 2009, and shows a mileage reading of 52864, less than 150 miles off of what he says the car has now (9 months later). That's a really old report considering he just decided to sell the car...
This guy has absolutely zero credibility in my book.
