It looks like I'm selling my '01 E55. This car has been very reliable and my favorite car I've ever had. I really hope I don't regret selling it. The car has about 125k miles on it. I am meticulous about this car and have had very few problems with it. It looks and runs great, and I would have no reservations recommending it to friends, family, or strangers alike.
It is one of the last handbuilt AMG models from Affalterbach, Germany. Despite it's age, it can still embarrass most any car on the road with a sub 5 second 0-60. It has Lorinser LM5 wheels, costing about $6k when new. It has a RENNtech carbon fiber airbox (very rare) from the previous owner. I wrote to Bob Brady of RENNtech who said there is a 80% chance that the car has the RENNtech Stage 1 package (374 hp, 415 torque), since it has the airbox and they were almost always sold as a package. The only way to confirm is to get the car up to over 155 mph to see if the limiter has been removed, which, as you can imagine, I have yet to do. Compared to the other W210 E55 I have driven, this one pulls much harder so I am inclined to believe it has the extra 25 hp and torque from the Stage 1 package.
I have put this under $10k to get it sold without any drama. I will post more pictures (wheels, interior, etc.).

Just a tip: If you want to sell a car, Craigslist is where it's at. I had a reasonable offer within hours of posting and I found a buyer at full price within 1 day who mailed a deposit.
Also, if you post on eBay (no charge to post) you get a free Autocheck report you can reference. Also helpful, even if no one bids on it.
