FS: 2003 SL55 - 20" iForged wheels
I am selling my beautiful SL55 AMG. The car has every option except for the Distronic cruise control system. It has 66,xxx miles but have mostly been highway miles to and from Downtown Sacramento. It also has aftermarket 20" wheels which compliment the car beautifully. The wheels alone cost me over $5,000. It also has Daimler Chrysler Maximum Care warranty until Dec 2010. The car's interior and exterior are in excellent condition. Below are options the car has that are not standard. Registration was just paid and good until June 2011.
Price: $34000 OBO
* Panaramic roof
* Parktronic parking sensors
* Keyless Go (push button start)
* Wind deflector attached to roll bar
* Wheels - Iforged Retro with painted face and polished lip. Tires are Falken FK452 - rears have about 65% life left and the fronts are brand new as of 10/26/10

I took my LS there to get a quote and they were easily $3k under. Of course that's how they have to make a profit when they resell the cars.
Hopefully they'll be easy on you-it wouldn't hurt to check it out.
I would love to pick this one up if my LS sells

I will see what CarMax comes up with. If it is close to what I feel is fair for me I will let it go. I might end up selling the wheels to make up some of the difference if it is close from what they give me and what I feel is fair. Have been trying to sell it for too long.

carmax will give you 28k or so for your car.
however at 34k your price is competitive. if you have time hold on and you will get thereabouts (at least 32.5k in mind).

I agree with you alx. I do have time to hold on to it but have been selling it for so long that I just want it gone. Not desperate but just want it gone.

Take the wheels off and sell them, put the stock rims and good tires on, wait til spring and you'll get your price. I just happen to have stock rims with new bridgestone poles. You have a beautiful car, looks just like mine cept its a 05.
