Arrow Feeler WTT: 2006 M5 *Low Mileage* For C63

I'm thinking about trading my 2006 M5 for a 2008-2010 C63. I'm located in the Bay Area, I'm the second owner, I purchased the car in September of 2010 with 21,300 miles. Clean title, garage kept, non-smoker, and very well maintained.

I'm looking for a 2008-2010 with low mileage, open to all exterior colors but prefer artic white and or steel gray with black interior.

If you're interested and or have any questions please pm me, thanks for looking.

That is a nice M5..a little low on tq..but still a nice M5. Jk.

Could be perfect for someone who is a tad too big for the c63 and needs something larger.

Main reason why I want to sell it, miss the low end torque and nimble feeling that I had on my 335.

i always liked the m5s and have had a new e39 and one of the first e60 in the us. both with aluminum trim i personally think the e60 m5 is a much better car than the c63, but that is just my opinion.

how loud is the rpi exhaust?

i think if you want a straight trade an excellent condition low mileage 08 c63 is your best bet. you are about $7k apart on the low mileage 09s and overall more on the 010s.

good luck

alex

Alex,

Did you go from E60 to MB? If so, anything you miss from the bimmer? I'm very new to MB and if this trade happens the C63 will be my first Mercedes. I had a 328ci and 335i, both came with wood trim

There's a CPO C63 at my local dealer that I plan to check out this weekend and possibly get a quote from Carmax if I can't find any one to trade with me. I prefer to have a 2009 or 2010 and I do plan to put cash on top.

The RPi GTS is the quieter version of the GT, it's louder than my Tubi regular exhaust. Loud in a good way, not obnoxious or annoying by any means.

Here's a vid I did a couple weeks ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nxkk8O127Ro

Planning to sell for 44500 OBO with mods, may consider parting out for a lower price.

Good price for an awesome car! As someone who has had AMGs as well as an M car, you can't go wrong with either!

I think the wood looks great, as does the rest of the car. GLWS. I would trade that for my boring brown wood trim any day.

well, i have never "slaved" to any brand as i have taken delivery of both new m and amg cars in the past... but overall the merc will never have the bmw steering feel, initial turn-in bite and willingness to step out with the rear end (as in the most mb models stability control is always on unless you shut it down through the engineering menu but then everything is off (ie abs, etc.)...

i honestly think you cant go wrong with either one. the only thing that i truly dont like about all the mercs is their lack of on-center steering feel.. mushy is the right word. but once you are used to it they can be fun to drive.

if i have to sum it up- bmws are sport luxury, mercs are luxury sport and as we go through our stages in life one or the other comes into focus in no particular order and then fades away

alex
