Found this on Auto Trader while poking around looking for a Family Car. Low price.... low miles.... I honestly think something has to be wrong with it. Figured I'd throw it up here in case anybody is looking though.

I'm guessing scammer or total misprint.
If you google the VIN (WDBSK72F77F120929) , the car shows up priced at 45K+ other places. And that's still too cheap.

Yeah, Autotrader is getting bad with scams. I saw a nice looking '03 SL55 the other day on Autotrader listed for just under $10k. About 15-20K below normal pricing by my guess. I knew it had to be a scam because of the price, and then it was confirmed when I pulled the VIN and ran it on EPC. The interior color didn't match the photos. I emailed anyway just to see what would happen. The ad was removed later that day, and then a few days later I get this email:

I sell my suv at this price because I just with my family in Montreal , Quebec and since we are waiting for a new baby , i no longer have time to play with my toyz. We will have to buy an SUV.
The car is still registered in US and was listed nationally since I will pay for shipping back to US.
You will have a hard time finding a cleaner used Mercedes than this
one right here. Runs and looks great.

There are lots of scammers out there. I am selling it due to a tight money situation. I know the car is very cheap especially that it has the Performance package and the Designo package. I have it posted up on Autotrader again after both ads (fake one and mine) were taken down. Anyway...

I am interested in the car and I tried to contact you several times with no success. I called you on your cell phone and left several messages, but you did not bother to answer or call back. I wonder if you are the victim or the scammer? It is very difficult to tell who is the straight man and who is the scammer? Everybody is hiding behind their IP addresses.

Do you still have the car? Did you sell it? There is no listing of the car in Autotrader. Does this car exist? Is everything a scam?
