The carfax lists the car as Silver....
If you are concerned about the car being a fake the easy way to take care of your fears is to email or call the owner and ask him to take a picture of the current mileage of the car, or a specific shot of the car (roofline view or the of the spare, or some other obscure thing) and send you the photo. Most cameras put a date stamp on the picture and some embed them in the file info as well. Most fakers can't comply since they don't have the car.....
I agree with the others here I don't think its being faked. The Carfax shows FL and the posting is reflecting a FL phone number which also checks out as a person who seems to have sold cars in the past.

It's white. I used the VIN to pull the data card from Mercedes' Electronic Parts Catalog. Some notes:

Pretty well loaded car. Note that it does not have the folding 3rd row seat, but in exchange for this concession you do get a spare tire.

I HATE the trucking companies. Trying to save a dime/a few benjis resulted in a 2 week shipping delay (which cost me $300 in car rentals, so DUH to me!!!), but the car finally did arrive last week. We've already put on ~600 miles (at 14mpg, OUCH) and met a local MBworld e55 owner on the road (what's up "PARACIN"). The car has very few options (P1 + VCS + 3rd row + Sirius), which is what I wanted, but it does have MB extended/extended warranty until 12/12, so I'm freakin' thankful. Having suffered a dozen Manhattan parking lot dings + scratches, it's definitely not as clean as shadow's wagon; I did pick it up pretty cheaply, and the owner was well-to-doer who presented complete service records (including a new SC in '10).
Here it is on Long Beach Grand Prix Dr., aka Shoreline Dr.
Pretty sure all the dads would appreciate the umbrella stroller. It wasn't "posed", just happened to be there.
Have a spare set of AL/Bosch Audi OEM bi-xenon/ballast/igniter which will hopefully go in soon, and will have to decide when the purchased Eurocharge tune will go in, if at all.

I'm a fan of low option count - less stuff to break.
