This car is a hot potato. It has passed between several folks several times in the past 2 months. I heard from a friend who checked the car out for me they (the dealership) claimed that it had stretched head bolts which caused some coolant issues which damaged the motor. A new motor was supposedly put in by MB. In subsequent discussions with them directly it was never disclosed. Seeing it getting passed around like a hot potato leads me to believe it still has some serious issues.

I sold my 63 in Dec and tempered myself with great deal on a nice black GL550. I now see a Capri Blue 63 wagon; just like what I wanted....

I'm consoled with that fact that its a bit out of the price range and that I got a great deal on the GL550. Now I just need to figure how to back into some Kleemann headers and superchargers and then I'm set.

It took my 18 months of constantly searching to find my car and I have never seen another one for sale (other than the white E55 in FL and white E63 in OH that both were listed and sold in late November)
