I've been thinking of trading in my 2005 E55AMG wagon on an E63 wagon. There are some nice things about the new vagen but 2 things are holding me back - what the dealers are offering as a trade (these were 120k in Canada in 2005 - although the CDN dollar was low at the time) - 18k at one dealership, and I might get 30k to 35k at another; and incredibly enough there is NO Parktronic on the E wagons! Again! They're making rear cameras standard, but I just don't get the logic behind skipping Parktronic for these vehicles. And some of the MB photos even show the sensors. What's with that?

Just wanted to say i really like this thread and the info it gives. Well i just decided to add another benz to my collection so im putting the word out. My first choice is an E55 Wagon of course second resort would be the E63 wagon. I am going to take my time with this as it may take some time considering i am going to be picky and want a white one. My very last resort would be the flint grey but i am going to try and hold out as long as possible for the white one. I am in no rush as i currently have other cars and i love my EVL CL65 so when the deal comes it comes. If you see anything or know of one that comes up please let me know. Keep up the great info on this thread its great.

It took my 18 months of constantly searching to find my car and I have never seen another one for sale (other than the white E55 in FL and white E63 in OH that both were listed and sold in late November)
Keep searching and I will keep listing cars I find here, good luck

Park Place is right next to Microsoft in Seattle and those guys are known for paying sticker for these types of cars. I am sure this car will sell in no time in Seattle.

I've decided to register after lurking in this thread off and on for several months. I find it interesting that so few of these cars exist, and so many people are seeking them, yet there seems to be no cutthroat dealing going on. In any case, I've been idly keeping an eye out for E55 wagons for sale just like the rest of you. I can't afford to buy one right now, and I'm not even sure it's a good idea to do so. You see, I'm not wealthy, and I know that owning a car of this nature requires significant expense for upkeep. One can always dream (or hope for a great deal to come along).
In any case, the other reason I registered was to inform you all that the 06 E55 wagon at Freeman Motors in Portland, OR is now at $31,995. I've watched the price come down on it over the last few weeks. Why hasn't this one sold yet?
The other one that boggles me less as to why it hasn't sold, is the one in CT for $35,699 or some such price. It's far from perfect, and it's been mentioned several times in this thread.
Anyways, I'll just carry on observing from the sidelines.

It's in the latest US MBCA club magazine (The STAR)that sent out this week....it doesn't list a price tho but I expect it to be 40-50K. I actually saw this car at Lime Rock park this last May ...I think it was this one(How many white E63 wagons are there in NJ?) I'll post the pic I took asap. Looks sharp in white/tan IMO...nice and bright, it shows the lines nicely.
I'll try to remember to post the guys number or find a link it to it from the MBCA website (if its on there). Perhaps someone else has seen it online already?
