FS my 1997 C36 AMG
Hey guys,
Although this is though for me, i think i want to sell my C36 AMG.
i've had it for 3.5 years and I love the thing to death, but now i was a classic mercedes(W111, W112, W114)
I've done so much to this car that there is NOTHING left to go wrong.
Engine/Drivetrain[LIST][*] K&N Intake[*]new Radiator[*]New Tubes[*]New motor mounts[*]new Water pump[*]New bearings all around[*] New fuel pump[*]It Was just aligned(lifetime alignment)[*] Custom Straight pipe exhaust[*] One-off Supersprint Muffler Designed by supersprint. it was $450 USED.[*] New Wiring harness at 125k miles[/LIST

Optional: I have two extra brabus rims that can be used for a rear set of track wheels.
The reason why this car is Salvage is due to a rear end crash prior to when I bought the car.
I bought the car when it had already been repaired, and I have had no problems over the past 35k miles in relation to this accident.
I have replaced so much on the car (over $15,000 invested) in the past 3 years, that it practically new.
I have a HUGE folder of receipts to prove this, including warranty information on aftermarket parts.
I have treated this car like a baby since the day I got it, fluids were always changed as needed
This car drives like a dream, I cannot begin to count how may compliments I have received due to make car, whether its driving kids on a roadtrip, or Taking on twisty mountain roads-This C class does anything!
0-60 in 5.6-5.7 and Four doors!
5spd transmission so I still get great MPG

- new Bilstein Shocks
- new Polyurethane bushings
- only 3000miles on my Crossdrilled/vented brakes(comes with another set of brake pads)
- Brabus Replicas that were just repainted
- 2mm spacers.
- Rolled Fenders
In car Electronics
- Aftermarket Pioneer deck with AUX input
- 6disc cd changer(not connected)
- Power inverter in trunk
- DVD Player with input for Video game system(I have an N64 in there now, but I'll be taking it with me)
- 2 7"inch Lcd's in headrests for rear passengers
(Dvd+tv system was $1300 alone) - Bose Speakers and aftermarket amplifier
- For an additional $500 I have a Hardwired Valentine 1 radar detector in place of the ashtray, Amazing Stealth install. I will revert this to stock with the ashtray otherwise.(please ask for details)(see pictures)

I had a w114/115 (300d) in brown and it was the most charming car. When i drove it around LA i swear i caught more attention than all the new luxury cars. If I had kept it I had wanted to mod it for power, upgrade the suspension and brakes.. keep in mind though that these older diesels are not nearly as fuel efficient as newer ones. I also love the 108/109 SEL's though.

it hasnt been repainted, it has less miles than my car, once i sell my car for
$8500,
im going to upgrade suspension, tint it, do custom audio, manual transmission and engine swap.
I dont need a quick and nimble car out here at UC Merced, i need a land yacht hahaha
but seriously, ill eventually get different more grippy wheels and tires and stuff too and make it a pretty fast/fun boat

hmm.. makes me nostalgic. our family used to have a brown 77 300D. those things had shock absorbers in the bumpers, so trucks and taxis would bounce right off 
. sold it to a farmer.
to this day, don't even need to see the car, all i need to hear is that distinctive diesel chatter and i can tell u it's a 300D. gl with the new classic.

just because the tires make smoke doesnt mean i dont baby it.
i take care of the car, but i drive it like it should be driven. if ur buying a amg and not using all the horses, whats the point?
the cars never missed a fluid change, has had all certified repairs, and has thousands of $$$ in upgrades and new parts
