WTB - 2005- 2006 E55 Silver or Black - 50k miles or less
Hi everyone,
I have been following the w211 E55 boards for quite awhile and finally sold my STG 3 Audi S4 yesterday. I'm looking for a 2005 - 2006 E55 with around 50k miles or less in Silver or Black preferably. I've been all over EBay, Autotrader, Cars.com and found some good examples, but was curious if any board members/enthusiasts were looking to sell. Please let me know.

how about this, mileage is a bit high, but since it's under 100K, you can still get decent warranties via credit unions (route 66).

How did you find that one?... The mileage is too high but thanks for the lead.. Still have your Cactus S4?

looking for an 05-06 under 65K miles. Found 2, one was sold out from under me #$%$#. The other, well the person seems to be afraid of a PPI, so that's probably not going to happen either. Found a nice 05, posted here. Silver (not what i'm interested in), but it was really clean. But they think it's $40K clean. a E63 Front end, doesn't make it an E63 (rather not have it either).

This is the owner that dropped off when I was trying to get a PPI. So either they went out of town and thus not being responsive, or other.
06 cars are selling for $24K quite often. the blue/black that I missed out on had 75K miles, aftermarket wheels, all the right options and super clean, it sold for just south of $24K.
the folks asking retail of $32K + are going to sit on the cars for a while.
I'm looking at one tomorrow or Saturday, will see what happens.

Made an offer, probably a bit low for the dealer, but will see. If not will work with a local member and see if their car can't be my first E55.. Will see.
BTW can't see anyone having a hard time buying a black or silver, there are tons of them!

I appreciate the rapid responses from all the board members. I purchased a 2007 E63 with 49k miles over the weekend from a great car enthusiast... Loving every second of the engine roar, handling, and incredible braking!!...

Actually not a big step up in price. The person I bought it from was a great guy! The brute low-end torque of the 55 is not in the 63 but the handling, exhaust tone, styling, braking and 7 speed is awesome. I always have a grin on my face... At 60 MPH,.. Drop down a couple gears and the car puts you back in your seat with a smile on your face.
