Hey guys ... I've decided to sell my C63 to get another Corvette. I know you are probably shaking your heads at this moment ...


Here is a short run down. The car was purchased in June of last year and is stock with a few adds. All chrome trim including fog trim has been vinyl wrapped black and the front and rear lights have been wrapped in dark film. All of this can be removed if desired. There is also a clear bra on the hood, front spoiler and side mirrors. I just recently installed the Escort Shifter Laser jammer ... it works with Escort radars and rocks! The car is currently located in San Diego but it can ship it anywhere.

I could use some help on this one ... I have noticed that my thread has gotten over 1K views, but no responses. Do you guys think I am high on my price??? Any help on this would be appreciated.

Yes, the price seems high....It looks like a nice car, but $60k is a lot of money (no matter what kind of car)....

Thanks so much for your feedback ... the reason I have priced it at $59,900 is the car has $11k in adds that the other cars out there going for $55K don't have ... Most only have the P02 Premium Pkg and the 320 multi-media pkg. Here is a list ...

P30 performance pkg - $4050
AMG Limited Slip Diff, AMG Compound Braking, Track-Calibrated Suspension, Leather/Alcantara Steering Wheel, Top Speed 174

318 AMG Leather - $3030
Premium Leather (The cars w/o this package do not have all leather seats if you can believe that), 8-way power front sport seats w/ memory, Power Steering Column w/ Memory

H73 Carbon Fiber Trim - $2550
899 Keyless Go - $1130

Another thing is the car has been immaculately cared for. It looks better than a brand new showroom car. Maybe I need to wait it out for the right buyer who is a "driver" that wants these adds like I did. The suspension on the car is amazing ... which they no longer offer in the P31 package.

Are you aware of the price ranges for them? It seems not according to the statement in the parenthesis.


OP, i think your 2010 could sell a bit faster at about 55k..

Thank you for chiming in solekeeper! As stated in my previous post ... cars without the performance package (P30), Carbon Fiber and the leather package with 10K more miles are going for $55K. So this is why I posted the car at $59,900. You may have missed that. Thoughts?

Like I said earlier ... I think I just need to wait for the right buyer to come along ... I think this price is a steal (sticker was $76,500). But maybe that is because I know how immaculate the car is and the difference between how a non-P30 drives in comparison to this one. Night and day! We got two calls on it this weekend ... fingers crossed!

Beautiful car, unfortunately Mercedes depreciation is horrible. The car is worth more to you because of what it is, and if you keep focusing on the sticker price, your going to be disappointed. Basically you hit the nail on the head, you need to wait for the right buyer.

You are right they depreciate. I had no idea. I have had this car for a year and half and if I sell for $60k ... that is a $16k hit. Ouch. Not to mention it has only 13k miles. You live and your learn I guess. I should have bought used...
