FS: 2008 C300 4M for Canada and international buyer
Hi all.
I have 2008, white/gray C300 4Matic for sale. currently 19,000 miles. clean, clear title, never been in any accident. nothing need to repair or fix. asking $26,000 OBO
The car has 6DVD, Navi, Heated seats, H/K logic 7, 4Matic. car is on great shape. I wash and hand wax every week by myself with another friend (who work in details shop)
the car is in VA. i'm the 2nd. Purchase at Manheim auction from Mercedes financial department. Maheim made mistake and stamp on the title "sold for export only" so can't be register in the US. only for international buyer.
The vehicle could be registered in the US. but will need to do some paperwork.

yes. you are correct. this is US car. US title but "sold for export" only.
I don't want to go through all the process to get it title back. Plus i'm having 3 cars now so just want this one go.
so I chose easier way is sell for export. I can help with export and shipping.

If Manheim made a mistake you can give them back the title and they will correct it within days and give you back a proper title.
OP, there must be more to the story here, why didn't the title just go back to Manheim to be replaced? Then you'd sell the car in 15 minutes at that price with those miles to someone in the USA.

Manheim did NOT want to do that. I have all bill of sale, title and shipping paper, and power of attorney letter from Manheim.

@Bruce: what make you sure that Manheim will give another title? you can try with them if you want. my lawyer did, but they did NOT give another title. they said all sale are final.

and when you get to border, you pay import fee.
$22,000 + shipping + fee, tax. still can't find that price in Canada for sure.
