Benzworks..must be why they aren't responding and it was a new profile....
I heard through the grapevine that the wagon had some coolant issues due to stretched headbolts. I have never heard of a 63 having headbolts issue...Has anyone else heard of such an issue?

That is great! I was going to buy it at $49.9 but the dealer was very unresponsive and then raised the price $6k.
Did they tell you why they had to replace the lifters and head gasket? If they head gasket blew then you also probably have oil and coolant commingled throughout both systems. Typically when lifters are replaced you replace the cam also so I would keep an eye on that. I have always been lery of engines being rebuilt at dealerships. The guys at the factor are Master builders and they build engines for a living and do it day end and day out where your AMG certified tech is only certified to replace parts on your car.
How many miles have you put on the car? I noticed that the car moved from one dealer to another and only had 50 or so miles put on it. It all seems kinda odd that an ultra-low production number E63 wagon would have any problem selling, esp at that price.

Dealer split in two. Owners split fleet. So that's why the price went down. The dealer got car at auction. Was own buy rental company (manhiem) Car would not turn over that's why it went into OC MB dealer for engine work. Came out and they couldn't sell it. End of year 11 early 12 dealer split and took this car with them. I couldn't pass on price. Int is a 10. Ext is a 7ish. Runs uber strong. Bought MB warranty out to 6/75k miles. So not so worried about engine issues yet.
