Had left a deposit for CLS55 and seller (Private) just sold it from under me since I didn't close the deal quick enough. Thank god I gave him a check and not cash, what he wanted. So in hunt for one again. If your planning on trading in maybe we can work out a deal!

I actually decided as of this morning to sell mine. It's blk/blk with 62300 miles. It has just sat in my garage since I bought it. I drive it <100 miles a week. It will be the weekend before I can take good pics due to my schedule. It has $8000 worth of chrome and black Forgiato Andata's on there. Those are negotiable too. Was hoping to get $35000 for the car w/o wheels.

I saw the first 2, I can't get anything more than 2 year warranty so its useless. White one looks pretty good. I hate these dealers saying " whatever our posted price is the lowest"

if you're looking to buy a low mileage CLS55 for the price of an E55, you're dreaming. If you don't care about miles, the ones listed above look like decent buys. If you want something under 60k miles, you'll have to pay at least $35k for it

You can find one if your lucky! The one I left deposit on had 72k and guy let it go for 26,500. $500 more than what I offered him...

See, this is the case scenario when you play cheap, you lost a great deal for $500 ! It won't easy to find $27K range for CLS55. Its still about $5k to $7K more expensive than 06 E55. Why don't you buy 06 E55 as you planned before ? You can find a low mileage one for $26K. At your budget point, good luck. If i am in market for CLS55, I have no problem to buy the black one at $30K with 89K miles. That car is fully equipped and looks so clean.

I had a deposit on it and guy is like you need to come today or I am getting rid of it. I couldn't scrap up 26k in cash (in 2 days) like he wanted. Also he had a lien against the car so my banker was like I wouldn't because he can just take your cash and bounce. Ohhh well. I am looking at 550i also.

So what was the point of a deposit if it didnt hold the car. Typically a bill of sale or purchase agreement would have been drafted with the terms spelled out. If the seller took a deposit, he should have held the car for a few days and allow you to collect your loot.
Whatever happened to being a man of your word?
The last car I just sold, I told the buyer I would hold it for him with no deposit until he could fly in to drive it home.

Yeah trust me I was pissed. He gave me that stern voice like you need to come today or its leaving. I said okay I guess my lost cause I can't come up with 26k in 1 day.

I found this one, where Craig (chawkins) knows the owner. I will call em. Maybe I can get them at 30k.

Haha I know. I just don't want to buy something ASAP then I find something better in 2 weeks. I don't really need a car at the moment. My car has been sold so I am just sitting on the money for now lol

What you guys think about the CL55? Branded as old person car but I seen some really nice ones on the forums. I can probably get one under 20k and slap on 3 year warranty

Dealer in Chicago has an M3 Vert...Any one ever had problems with them? I never been fan of M3, but M5s are nicer in my book cause of it being a sedan!

Lol please let me know if you find a 03+ CL for under 20k.....I spent 8+ months, thousands of hours of phone calls, searching, and headaches to find the perfect CL55 with 58k miles that I somehow bought for 28k
