1982 380SEC $2300obo
I am selling my beautiful 1982 Mercedes Benz 380SEC. Vin: WDBCA43A8CB003144. Previous owner rebadged it to a 500SEC for some unknown reason. It only has 175500mi and it comes with a sunroof, palomino leather seats, 15 inch chrome wheels, heater, power seats, power windows, a JVC head unit, seat belt hand over, and many more options. It has a 3.8 V8 engine that does not leak or burn oil. Has a 4-speed automatic transmission that is still running strong. This is my last semester in college and I no longer have the time and money to invest in this beauty. $2300 or best offer. Feel free to call, or text me at (916) 915-7430 and ask questions or make an offer. I can also be reached by email at diavalon3@aol.com Car is located in Sacramento, CA.
The Good:
-Very fun to drive
-Gets complimented daily
-Clean title
-The white paint in fairly good condition
-Leather has only minor wear
-Recent tune-up. Included new sparks plugs, ignition wires, distributer cap and rotor, and air filter.
-Recent engine oil and filter change
-Brand new suspension. Has brand new H&R sport springs, Bilstein shocks, and rear sway bar links.
-Driver side air bag
-Passed CA smog in August 2011
-Registered until August 2012
The Not So Good:
-Needs transmission modulator ($40 online). Transmission still works great though.
-Needs alignment
-Needs two new front tires. Rear tires are almost new.
-Has a minor power steering leak.
-Fuel gauge does not work but the low fuel warning light still works.

Thanks! No, the shifts became firmer from 1st to 2nd gear and in some occasions it will realease a puff of smoke when letting off the throttle at speeds over 60mph. Also the vacuum line that connects to the modulator is a bit wet. To stop the smoke I shift the car to N when letting off the throttle.

That is great! I would love to see my car go to someone who will look after her.
