My wife and I are expecting our first child so with that, I'll need to get something more "practical". The car is a 2004 SL55 (silver with black interior) with 54,000 miles. It has every option except Distronic cruise. The warranty is through NAC and is good until 95,000 miles. Mod wise, it has the Kleemann K4 kit, Meisterschaft race exhaust, Akebono brake pads, and an upgraded Bosch IC pump. I've never had it dynoed, but everyone on here knows the quality product Kleemann has. Also, tires have less than 5k miles. The car is in excellent shape and has never been in an accident. I had to file an insurance claim several months ago to replace the bumper due to me running over a stick in the road, but other than that, no issues at all on the CarFax.

I may be interested. Can you tell me more details on the NAC warranty. What level? Deductible cost? Any issues so far getting them to cover claims with your modifications?

I got the warranty from Bruce at Becks Imports. It is the highest level of coverage (Pinnacle I believe) and has a $100 deductible. With regards to the modifications, an authorized MB dealer has to inspect the car before I could qualify for the warranty. I had the car inspected by my local MB dealer and they signed off on everything. I always take my car to an indy, and they always work with me on it. No issues at all. Indys want to get paid, regardless if its our money or NAC's.

I’m interested in the car and I think some other members are as well. However, it is tough to get a good idea of the car with the grainy and small photos. I think you would have a much better response if you took 40-60 high resolution photos and posted them or provided a link.

Additionally, you say that you have a NAC extended warranty good until 95,000 miles with a $100 deductible. What year does the warranty expire? Can you post PDF’s of the paperwork? Those of us in the market for a car like this understand the importance of an extended warranty and we need to know the details. I honestly can not afford to own a car like this unless the extended warranty is for sure the highest coverage and has 3-4 years left.
