JANUARY 20, 2013: PRICE DROP. Car is now stock with OEM wheels, stock height and stock tai lights: $36,900. You know it's a deal! Let's do this!
I've had the car since May of this year and put only about 5k miles on it. Fact, is, I don't drive the thing enough, and I have too many cars. Also, I'm dying to get back into an AMG...or a house, so it's time to move this thing.
I am selling it either as is with the mods, or bone stock.
2007 S550 (Flint Grey w/ black interior)
56.5K miles.
AMG Sport option
Premium package
Panoramic roof
Rear seat package (reclining, heated and ventilated)
Wood and heated steering wheel
Parktronic (no backup cam)
Telematic updated to the latest software.
Mods:
Model update taillights
AdjustableAirRide links for lowering
21" HRE wheels and Toyo tires, which are basically brand spanking new.
LED license plate light
Colormatched sidemarkers (Flint Grey)
And probably some other options I have forgotten about.
In December 2013, I just replaced the starter battery, oil change done and got the dreaded $6000+ crankshaft balancer sprocket thing replaced (the latter under Mercedes Goodwill Warranty!). So the S550's reputed known issue is NOT an issue with this car as it has been fixed with the updated part!
All services are up to date of course.
Clean carfax. I bought the car from a second owner who had bought it CPO form Fletcher Jones in Newport Beach, CA.
The car is currently located in San Luis Obispo, CA.
Please realize this isn't a no-option S550 like the ones you can find for sale all over the place. This one has the sought after AMG/Sport package, the panoramic roof AND the rear seat package, all very rare options, let alone all together at once. On top of that, this isn't your run of the mill black or silver, but a pretty exclusive color.
With that said, I'm asking $39,500 with the mods. Without Mods, asking $37,500 (my pay off).
