http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2003-...ht_1990wt_1060
Listing will be live on ebay at 9:30PM EST. Wanted to give everyone here a heads up and of course get some more exposure

Asking price: $21,400. Auction reserve set slightly below that.
Up for sale is my beloved 2003 Mercedes E55 AMG. There is a baby on the way, so the toys have to go.
I purchased this car back in July of 2007, and I have enjoyed every single day with her. If you're looking at this listing, you already know what an amazing car the E55 is.
Beyond the standard options, this car has the following:
THE WARRANTY: Unlike almost every other E55 for sale these days, this car comes with an incredible after-market warranty. It is good until the car hits
100,000 miles, OR July 2013, whichever comes first. It is a full, bumper-to-bumper warranty with ZERO deductible. It's an exclusionary warranty, which basically covers everything that's not wear and tear. I am the original purchaser of the policy, and it can be transferred ONE
TIME to a private buyer. Please note: If you are a dealer, the warranty cannot be transferred to you. I will pay the policy transfer fee for
the winning bidder, and you will then be covered until 100,000 miles or July 2013, whichever comes first. I have used the warranty on several
occasions, and my service advisor has remarked that this company is by far the easiest he has ever worked with. The company pays the
dealership directly over the phone (almost always the same day the dealership submits the invoice) and you are on your way. The extra peace
of mind this warranty offers you beyond all the other E55s listed for sale is invaluable!
*** The warranty was purchased through AAA Member Care - the actual company is located at corpmsc.com
The policy I hold is equivalent to the "DIAMOND" policy (basically covers anything and everything not specifically excluded)
as shown here: http://www.corpmsc.com/default/asset...b_contract.pdf
+ Heated Seats.
+ Six-Disc in-dash changer.
+ Bi-Xenon headlights.
WHEELS: 18-inch Brabus BR6 Replicas
TIRES: Rear: 255/35/18 Dunlop Wintersport M3 with less than 500 miles on them
Front: 245/40/18 Dunlop Wintersport M3 with approximately 7,000 miles on them
PHONE: This car has the split-folding center arm rest with the bluetooth phone-docking cradle wired in, but it does not include the bluetooth puck. This means that if
you buy the puck here on ebay or elsewhere, it is simply a matter of popping it into the armrest and pairing your phone. The car has a built-in microphone that
picks up your voice and transmits it to your phone. You hear your caller's voice coming through the Harman-Kardon speakers. If you're listening to music and a
call comes in, the music is automatically muted while you talk, and comes right back on when the call is done. Your contacts and phone numbers are also
synched between your phone and the car.
LOJACK: Installed on the vehicle, but you would need to pay to register it under your name after purchase. I do not currently have it active.
RADAR: This vehicle has a K40 radar system professionally installed in it. There is a front-facing radar sensor in the front license plate bracket, and
a rear-facing sensor in the rear license plate bracket. When the system detects radar, one of two small lights embedded in the dashboard will
illuminate, letting you know if the friendly policeman is up ahead, or somewhere behind you. Also mounted in the dash on the lower-left side
of the steering wheel is the on/off switch for the system, as well as the volume control knob. Finally, there is the familiar option to change the
system's sensitivity by electing city or highway driving mode.
E55 Carbon Fiber Front Lip Spoiler - purchased from Euroteck Motorsports ($750).
Please note, as with any vehicle that sits this low to the ground, there are various scapes and scratches to the carbon fiber lip (mostly on the bottom surface that curls down and out of view.) The vast majority are unnoticeable from a few feet away.
E-Class Carbon Fiber Trunk Spoiler - purchased from Euroteck Motorsports ($550)
There is a single long scratch across the top length of the spoiler. *It has been filled in, but certainly isn't perfect.
*** Clear corner lights have been installed on the front of the vehicle. This provides a slightly cleaner look than stock, and goes really well with the silver paint.
For the past five years, the car has always been serviced at my local Mercedes dealership, Mercedes-Benz of North Haven, CT.
RECENT SERVICES: The main battery and the alternator were both replaced by Mercedes Benz of North Haven approximately 100 miles ago.
Service A with Oil Change was done at Mercedes Benz of North Haven less than 900 miles ago.
UPCOMING SERVICE: The car's display is reporting that "Service E" will be due for completion in just over 9,000 miles. I'm not sure what that entails, but typically that means MB is estimating will take 5 hours to service (A - 1 hour, B - 2 hours, C - 3 Hours, etc).
Imperfections: I've tried to capture pictures of any imperfections the vehicle may have. The pictures are truly the best I could do. In the last two images, you can see that I've drawn red boxes over areas to call your attention to them. The second to last picture discloses two small paint chips (2-3 millimeters perhaps). The last picture shows a faint impression in the passenger side door made by contacting a rubber trash can when a passenger opened the door several years ago. It is very superficial, and only noticeable from some angles and distances, but I want you to be aware of it. There are likely some other blemishes around the vehicle, but I didn't see them when taking photos. The car *does* have 59,000 miles on it, so some spots like this are inevitable. I recently washed and detailed her. A clay bar was used to remove surface contaminants, and two fresh coats of wax were applied. She looks gorgeous!
Accident History: In August of 2008 the car was hit at low speed by another vehicle while parked in my driveway. The right rear quarter panel, trunk, and right-side exhaust pipes were replaced (along with whatever other little parts / attachments were required). In CT, any damages over $1000 are required to be reported and that is why it shows up in the carfax history. There was never any damage to the frame, and the car has run perfectly ever since. I have all paperwork from the repair shop to document what I've said here.
I have both keys and all the manuals that came with the vehicle. I believe I also have the build sheet from the factory showing exactly what was ordered and on what date, etc, but I will have to dig around to find that if you would like it.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I am happy to help!
If you are local enough to take a test drive, please feel free to contact me. I will of course require that you show me a proof of valid insurance that matches your state-issued driver's license, which you will also have to show me. I'm sorry, but if you don't have both these documents available, there will be no test drive.
If you will be having the car shipped to you, I am happy to help either locate a shipper, or drop the vehicle off at a location / company you specify.
Also, if you would like to fly in after purchasing the vehicle so that you can drive it home, I am happy to pick you up from any of the local airports (BDL, HVN, HPN).

*NOTE: although it lists an apparent ownership change in 2008, there was not. I have been the owner since July 2007. I did switch lenders to PenFed at that time, so it must be that, a change in the lienholder as opposed to change in ownership.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Here is some additional service history not listed above. All work was performed in the last 1000 miles at Mercedes-Benz of North Haven, CT. Car is completely refreshed and ready for its new owner! Remember, the warranty is still active until July 2013, so you will have plenty of time and miles to assure yourself she is problem free!

Thanks! I was starting to think I priced it incorrectly. It's really difficult to know. I would welcome any feedback from members here as to any additional information I could tack on to the advert to make potential buyers feel more informed.
It seems like actual completed recent sales data is hard to come by for these cars...Oh well. 3 days left and more than halfway to my reserve
Hi. The car is still available. I have had one cash offer as of this morning. I have tentatively accepted the offer from the local buyer, but if we don't agree on a final price within the next day or so, I will update this thread.
If you are local, and would like to see the car, you can still certainly do so. Just please contact me quickly.
Thanks!
